Meet & Greet

If you are interested in learning more about Rosewood Pet Resort and finding out if it is the right fit for you and your dog, please contact us to book a Meet & Greet.

What to expect at the Meet & Greet?

We are focused on health and safety so ensuring that your dog is comfortable in this new environment and around new people is an important part of the process. We would love to meet your dog and learn a little bit more about them.

Please make sure your dog arrives on leash.  It will be important that they are friendly so that we can say hello.  We understand they may be nervous and that's okay.  They usually tend to warm up to us eventually.  If treats will help, please bring some of their favourites!

What will I learn at the Meet & Greet?

We will show you our private dog park, if not in use, and give your dog the chance for a little sniff around to get used to the sounds and smells in this new and exciting environment.

You will then be shown our reception area where you will also be able to view one of the dog boarding rooms to see where your dog may stay if boarding overnight.

There is plenty of information on our website and in our brochure with pricing details.

How do I book my dog for their first Daycare Day or Overnight Boarding Vacation?

Before any Overnight Boarding Vacations can be booked, you must first register with RoseWood Pet Resort and then book your dog for a mandatory first trial Daycare visit.  This is done so that we can see how comfortable they are and whether this environment is a good fit for your dog.  Regular Daycare charges do still apply.

Please visit our Customer Portal page to register.  Once you have registered you may request our services directly from your account.

What can I expect on my dog's first Daycare day?

It can be a very overwhelming experience so we want to give your dog the chance to settle in at their own pace and see how they feel at the end of the day.  After you drop them off for Daycare in the morning, we will perform a First Day Assessment and see how they do inside in their own private space and outside among the new smells, surroundings, routines, dogs and staff.

When you pick up your dog in the afternoon, we will give you a full report.  If everything goes well, you will be able to book further Daycare days and Overnight Boarding Vacations.

On the first day your dog will be around the other dogs but usually not in direct contact.
